I’ve never really been a big beach person, but after going to the beach in the late fall I discovered I might be beach person after all. This particular trip was to Myrtle Beach, SC.
When it’s cool out the beach is defiantly less crowded. When it comes to playing in the sand, with less people you don’t have to search for a spot to dig. If you love swimming in the ocean then this time of year isn’t for you. We still take our shoes off and walk but I wouldn’t go swimming.
One thing I found about going places in the cooler seasons is we tend to do more indoor activities. At Myrtle Beach they have a great aquarium, Ripley’s Aquarium. It has a great walk through tunnel, a touch tank and a large tank were you can watch divers feed the fish.
